Nomauma Highland
You can see Nomauma(uma means horse) which are very impressive, as they
are the first smallest species in Japan, having a loveable and friendly
disposition. Horse riding can be enjoyable when slowly riding around
a 100 meter ring escorted by an instructor.
It is a good facilty when you want to spend your time with your family
and friends.
When I took my friends there, they seemed to enjoy taking photos and
looking at them.
It takes about 15 minutes by car from Imabari JR station.
Mutan took some photos early in the morning on January 24, 2009
and took a permission of taking photos of training their horese.

She took a cute goat, too.

The park

We hope that you will have a chance to visit this Nomauma highland.

Nomauma is local breed.
I heard that they rode these horses during Sengoku era
(the period of Civil War in Japan).

とんちんかんなコメントかも知れません。ごめんなさい。

Nomauma is cute.
I wonder there is a duty of preserve the species there.
I am afraid that my comments are a little strange.
